Escargot snails with wheat gearm bread and garlic butter

This is a great starter or a small course.

Escargots are really one of my favourite starters. I prefer them with garlic butter and some toasted bread. I buy the escargots in frosted and they can be found at most better supermarkets. They come in their shell and I cook them in the oven for ca. 20 minutes.

I remove the escargots from the shell and weigh them before eating. One serving of snails returned ca. 50 g. The snails are then served with home made and toasted wheat germ flat bread (30g) with sesame seeds.
